Mike,
Attached is the approved Stormwater Management Permit. Please check with Fred Glaser regarding the Right-of-way
Permit.
A pre-construction meeting needs to be scheduled with Dan Greskamp at dgreskamp@carmel.in.gov or 571-2441. Once
the pre-construction meeting has been held, the project is released for construction.
Please submit 3 sets of the final construction plans to our office for our inspectors and files.
Please let me know if there are any further questions.

Chris,
To provide an update on the approvals for this project:
The temporary construction entrance and the open cut of the road pavement have been approved by the BPW. You
resubmitted plans on Monday, 2/3, in response to John Thomas’ 1/24 comments. Once John has had a chance to review
the project and confirmed that all of his comments have been addressed, then the Stormwater Permit and Right-of-Way
Permit can be issued.
Due to the variances granted for the project, I will have no further review or comment, per my 1/29 email.
Please let me know if you still have questions regarding the status of this project.
Thank you,
Amanda Foley

This project is disturbing more than ¼ acre (I think it is close to ½ acre of total disturbance). So I don’t think exterior
demolition should be allowed until we have an approved plan, or at a minimum, an approved temporary SWPPP and
Stormwater Management Permit.
They will need a R/W permit for access from the right-of-way.

Nick,
I understand from Chris Hinkle that you are the building official helping us through the permit process on
the Woodland Lifestyle Center remodel/addition project. We met last year while in your office to introduce
this project and the main clubhouse renovation/addition. When we worked on the main clubhouse, our
client and contractor were able to begin demolition work after obtaining the state approval but prior to
receiving the building permit from your office. The Lifestyle Center project involves demolition of all of the
interior conditioned spaces (similar to a tennant improvement project), as well as the demolition of one
end of the building to replace dilapidated locker rooms and an unconditioned snack bar. In the case of this
project will you allow our team to begin demolition or some portion of it while we wait for the permit from
Carmel? As I'm sure you're aware, we're trying to beat the winter weather.
Feel free to contact me at the number in my signature below if you want to discuss this directly with me.
Warm regards,
Mark

Good morning Nick,
I wanted to check in to see if you had received any feedback from the departments we still hadn’t heard from yet. I
know it has only been a couple of weeks since we talked about the project, but the TAC members have had the plans for
over a month now and the owner is getting very anxious to get construction going. Please let me know what
information you have and we will proceed accordingly. Thanks again for your help with this!!

Good afternoon Nick,
Please find attached a set of CDs along with our current TAC distribution checklist for the proposed Woodland Country
Club Lifestyle Center for your use and review. Below is the email I sent out the first time regarding the plans as Angie
requested. I also sent a follow up email on Tuesday Oct 22nd to the agencies who hadn’t responded to date. If there is
anything you might be able to help us ensure the agencies who haven’t responded per this spreadsheet are comfortable
with our plans, we would certainly appreciate it. Please let me know should you have any questions or concerns with
this information and thank you in advance for your assistance.

Good morning,
Please find attached a .pdf set of Construction Documents for the proposed Woodland Country Club Lifestyle Center
Renovation and Addition located at 100 Woodland Lane in Carmel for your use and review. The project is located on the
Woodland Country Club property and includes additions to the existing Pro Shop as well as renovations to the existing
locker rooms and poolside grill. The existing children’s pool will be removed and portions of the pool deck will be
removed to accommodate the proposed building construction. Existing building connections will be modified to tie into
the new building portions as well. The total disturbed area of the project is less than 0.5 acres.
Please take a moment to review these plans in accordance with the Technical Advisory Committee review process. We
will not be formally filing through this process as the project is zoned correctly and will not be seeking any variances.
We will not be attending the TAC meeting but will instead be seeking approvals from each department on an individual
basis.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions with this information or if there is any additional information
you need to complete your review. The owner would like to begin demolition efforts at the beginning of November so if
you would be able to ask any questions or provide a written comments prior to the end of this week, it would certainly
be appreciated. If you do not have any concerns with the proposed project, please let me know at your earliest
convenience so Angie Conn and I can cross you off the list. Thank you in advance for your assistance and have a great
day.
