We have reviewed our files concerning construction of a
wastewater retention basin and connection of the above -referenced plant
to the municipal sanitary sewer system and find no data confirming the
connection. We understand that the Carmel -Westfield interceptor is now
available.
Please submit a letter to this office giving the status of
construction of the connecting sewer and abandonment of your extended
aeration plant. If the plant is still in operation, you are in
violation of Public Law 92-500 and Public Law 100 since your NPDES
discharge permit expired in June.1985.
