THIS INDENTURE W1TNESSETH, That Carmel Public Library, a
municipal corporation, of Hamilton County, Indiana, organized and existing
under the laws of the State of Indiana,
CONVEYS AND WARRANTS TO Town of Carmel, Hamilton County, Indiana,
for the sum of Seventeen Thousand Five Hundred and No/100 Dollars
the following described Real Estate in Hamilton County, in the State of
Indiana, to -wit:
Part of the North West quarter of Section 30, Township
18 North, Range 4 East, known as Lot 34 in that part of
Carmel sold by Levi A. Haines, Sr. , except that part of
said lot used by said Town of Carmel for street purposes,
being 61 feet x 132 feet more or less herein conveyed.
The undersigned persons executing this deed on behalf of said grantor
corporation represent and certify that they are duly elected officers of said
corporation and have been fully empowered, by proper resolution of the Board
of Directors of said corporation to execute and deliver this deed; that the
grantor corporation has full corporate capacity to convey the real estate
described herein and that all necessary corporate action for the making of such
conveyance has been taken and done.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said Alfred J. Porteous, President and
Marjorie Barrett, Secretary of the Carmel Public Library, have caused this
deed to be executed this ,2.5 day of August, 1972.
