The idea was that Midwest would cut a check to the Hamilton County Treasurer for the prorated taxes as the taxes should be paid from the 2006 Bond, Instead they cut a check back to the City. My first thought was to send this back -to the City to be deposited into the 2006 Bond account. However, by doing this, the taxes for this property which should be paid from the 2006 Bond will probably get paid from another source when the tax bills come in. Should we just redeposit the funds into the Regions account, issue a check to the Hamilton County Treasurer or deposit the check into whatever account that the City -tax bills are paid from? Jill A. In this case, current tax statements weren't available at the time of closing. The purchase agreement indicated to prorate off of the last known tax installment which was $3018.00/yr. If new bills come out and they are higher (which they are in this case), the City is responsible for the total amount.
