PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Design of Pedestrian Bridge over Cool Creek in Carmel
SCOPE:
The proposed pedestrian bridge will cross over Cool Creek, approximately 0.36 miles west of Gray Road. It is
part of a proposed multi -use path along the north side of 1261 Street from Keystone Parkway to Hazel Dell
Parkway. The proposed pedestrian bridge will replace the existing bridge currently in place. The existing
bridge has a substandard width. The proposed structure is anticipated to be a 10 ft. wide pre -cast single span
truss bridge with a concrete deck. The truss would be functional and provide the required safety railing for
pedestrians.
Our scope will include the following services. For completion of this work, the supplemental fee to the original
contract will be a lump sum amount of $58,000:
1. Hydraulic Analysis.
2. Preparation of Bridge Plans and Details.
3. Quantities and Cost Estimate for Bridge.
