BOT 1912 (08-05 thru 09-2) Sept,tnd, l~l~. The Board met in r[gulsr session all members being present except $ohnson and Hodgin. Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved. The following bills were allowed, Tillman Perry labor on streets ~4.4~ Fred Hawkins gravel and cement Carmel Standard ptg envelopes 1.~ ~rs. S.M.Hawkln's claim for one year advance office rent was not allowed. Austin Bond was present and protested against the location oF an electric light at ~ the alley near Mred ~ohnsons resi- dence, claiming that the lights were not equaly distributed along the street. The matter was disscused but no action was taken. A petition for a sidewalk on willow street, beginninM at a point where the sidewalk &s now constructed, terminates in front of the property of ~,~ahlon Day, and e~tendinE northward to the Corporation li~e,was presented, ~.~ahlon day was present an~ pro- tested against the construction of t~ sidewalk on the grounds that it would injure his property more than ft would benefit it, and that the petition had been signed by property holders who had no right to sign it. The petition was tabled to be taken up at a later date. The meeting was continued over. Everet Kinzer note and interest was paid ~40.00 President Clerk-Treas.
