Carmel, Ind., June 14, 1920.
The board met for the further consideration of the purchase
of a~chemical engine for the town, Mr. Krause, representing the~Pyrene
manufacturing 0o., being present.
Trustees present were James M. Nutt, John Dee, Dunning H~ll
and Isaac J. Bales.
IAfter a full explanation of the engine bM Mr. Erause, She matter
was d2scussed at some length · Mr. Dee then made a motion that
the board purchase a PMrene engine at $$00 and 16 small hand extin-
guishers at $120. The hand extinguishers to placed over Carmel,
and to be easy of access in case of fire.) The vote is as follows:

ent: James ~. Nutt, John Bee., Isaac Bales, Dunning Hall and E. E.
Small.
After a discussion by the board it was decided to order the
trees trimmed throughout the town, that shade the side walks and
roadway.
It was moved by Lee, seconded by Hall, that the trees be
triced. The vote resulted:
