Preliminary Resolution.
Be it resolved by the Board of Trustees of the town of
Carmel, county of Hamilton, state of Indiana;-
that it is necessary to
construct a local drain, intended and adopted only for local use for
the drainage of that part cf West Main Street west of the Morion
and extending to the western corporate limits of said town, also by
the drainage of lots abutting upon West Main Street within the limits
as aboee described. Said drain shall be constructed according to
plans and specifications now on file in the office of the Clerk of
the town, and upon and alomg the route therein set out. The cost of
said improvement shall be paid from the general fund of the town,
and when property own~ desires to tap into said $~ain, the per-

time shall be Tuesday evening, June 6, 1933 at ?:30 P.M. in the

Kendall moved and Johnson seconded a motion that the Clerk
pay the street light bills - 50% in new money checks and 50% in
restricted money. Carried.
Kendall moved and Johnson srconded a motion that the interest
en the Water Stock Bonds not be paid until the next meeting night.
Carried.
The Clerk was ordered to write, the dtock hol~ers of the Water
Company, explaining our financial straits; offering them restricted
checks in full, if they will take them.
Pfotonh&uer moved and Kendall seconded a motion that Wyatt
Carey write Fire Truck Insurance Policy - full coverage- with the Pre-
mium at $140.00 per year. Carried.
Pfotenhauer moved andJohnson seconded a motion that Adams
tear down the barn on the City Dump Grounds. Carried.
Kemdall moved and Johnson seconded that the Clerk instruct
the Health Officer to inspect the town in regard to weeds. Castled.
