and approved.

~ bill of D. M. Hualer for printing was read and upon a motion
of Vogenberger and secon~ by Applegate the claim ~as not allowem ~
as no authorization of this printing an~ no appropriation ha~ been
.made for it.
Trustee Hinshaw presente~ a claim of the Federal Gov~ for
$~8S.77 for Gov't tax on the town water plant. The claim was supposed
~to cover taxes aue for the years of l~S~-~$-anmS~. Mr. R. J. Follett
representing the tax payers was present and entered a vigoru$ pro-
test and upon a motion by Vogenberger, seconded by Pfotenhauer
duly passed claim was ~rdered tableu.
The tax-payers committee complLmenteu ~he board upon the present
tax levy. Upon a motion of Pfotenhaur~a~a second by Applegate
the levy was ordered certified to the ~uditor as sched~Ye~ (see
Ledger) established the rate for 19S~ as~l.15 per ~100.00.
Acting upon information of the ~tate ~oard of Accounts that
the money of the Town of Carmel ]¥ater Funu coula not be carried
i~ an account other than that of the Town of Carmel; the board
unanimously passed a motion that in the future all money of the
Town be. carried in he Bank Acc. of the Town.
