Upon a motion by ~uckles secon~ by ~hornberry~ and so carried, it was ordered tha~ a six inch main be extende~ south from First street S.W. on First Ave. S. W., to the G. Adams property line. A petition for a f~ur way stop sign at the intersection of First Ave. N. E. and Second street N. E. There being insu~ciant signatures on the petition, it was tabled for further study. There were no citizens appearing for ar against the estimated budget as p~blished. Upon a motion by Thornberry, second by Hinshaw, the Ordinance for Appropriation was acted upon and carried. The budget was then signed in fu~l by the members present, Buckles and Zinsmeister being a~sent, did not sign. Meeting adjourned: Clerk-Treas. Septemoer 1, 1953 Regular meeting of the Town BOard of Carmel was caile~ to order at 7:30 P.M. at the Town Buildin~ with Zinsmeister absent. The minuets of the August meetings were read and a~opted. Tom Jewet~, clerk-Treas. tendered his resignation effective November l, 1953.
