Hamilton Co. Senior Citizens/78CONTRACT FOR SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Hamilton County Senior Citizens Services,
Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Senior Citizens" is a
not-for-profit corporation located at 871 Conner Street, Nob-
lesville, Indiana and is engaged in providing services to
Carmel residents, age 60 and above, and
WHEREAS, the City of Carmel wishes to utilize these
services for the benefit of its'~elderly citizens.
NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the follow-
ing terms and conditions, Senior Citizens and the City of
Carmel agree as follows, to-wit:
1. That Senior Citizens will provide,
during the year
1979 to persons 60 years of age and above and residing in the
City of Carmel, Indiana, these services~
a. OutreaCh: Home visitation for the purpose
of acquainting seniors with available community ser-
vices and activities, and. gathering information about
their needs.
b. Handyman: Yar~work, home maintenance, and
minor repairs. Some of.the services provided include
light repairs.of plumbing and electrical fixtures,
installation of handrails, repair of storm windows,
and leaf raking.
c. ' Information and' Referral: Telephone ser-
vice providing seniors with information about avail-
able 'community services and referrals to appropriate
services. ~
d. ' Homemaking: Light housekeeping, meal prepara-
tion, and personal assistance in the homes of seniors
reqUiring such services because of health.
e. Transportati~on: Trips to the doctor-, grocery,
bank,'and other destinations.
Senior Citizens will provide these services when requested
by individuals requiring the services of Senior Citizens.
2. That in consideration for the services provided above
5y Senior Citizens, the City of Carmel will pay the sum of
Three Hundred Dollars (15300.00) to Senior Citizens on March
31, June 30, September 30, and December 31, 1979, for a total
payment of One T~ousand Two Hundred Dollars ($1200.00).
