Executive Order JB-2004-3City of Carmel, Indiana Executive Order JB-2004- '~ WHEREAS, the City of Carmel has been ordered by the Hancock Superior Court to pay a settlement, WHEREAS, there are excess funds which were encumbered in the City of Carmel Rainy Day Fund that are no longer needed for the 2004 budget year; and WHEREAS, Indiana Code 36-4-7-8 states that the City Executive can Deappropriate money; NOW, THEREFORE, by virtue of the power and authority granted to me as Mayor of the City of Carmel, Indiana, I, James Brainard, do hereby declare and order 1. Effective on September 20, 2004, I deappropriate the amount of $5,666.96 from lIne item R4463000 Furniture/Fixtures. 2. Effective on September 20, 2004, I deappropriate the amount of $35,919.83 from line item R4463100 Communications Equipment. 3. Effective on September 20, 2004, I deappropriate the amount of $188,500 from line item R4461300 North Plant Salt Barn.
