EXECUTIVE ORDER
JB-2004-1
WHEREAS, the Hazel Dell/Pennsylvania Street Road Bond ("Bond") was
refinanced in 2004 to take advantage of declining interest rams; and
WHEREAS, there are excess funds in the Board of Public Works budget for the
Bond payment that is no longer needed for the 2004 budget year; and,
WHEREAS Indiana Code 36-4-7-8 states an executive can deappropriate money
for any executive department; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Works is an executive department.
NOW, THEREFORE, by virtue of the power and authority granted to me as
Mayor of the City of Carmel, Indiana, I, James Brainard, do hereby declare and order
that, effective on August 12, 2004, I deappropriate the amount of $981,402 from Account
No. 4354002, 1997 COlT Bond Payment account.
