1982 Carmel/Clay Twp.ZONING AGREEMENT THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into by and between the City of Carmel, Indiana, hereinafter'referred to as City, and Clay Township of Hamilton County, Indiana hereinafter referred to as Township, WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, the City (formerly Town) and Township on the 2nd day of May, 1961, entered into an agreement by the terms of which the Township was jo'ined to the Town Of Carmel for the purpose of zoning, and WHEREAS, it is agreed that the City and Township have reviewed the anticipated expenses and income to be derived from the operation of the Zoning Law of the City of Carmel for the year 1982 , in sufficient time for the Township to include within its budget a proportionate part of the anti- cipated zoning expense for the combined area of said City and Township~ and ~WHEREAS, pursuant to said agreement the Township did include within its budget for the year 1982, the sum of Fifty-One Thousand Six Hundred Fifty ~ollars ($51,650.00) for zoning purposes, and NOW,.THEREFORE, it is mutually ag[eed by and b~tween the Ci[y and Townshi'p that: . 1. The Township agrees to pay the sum of Twenty-Six Thousand Dollars ($26,000.00) unto the City on or before July 15, 1982, and the additional sum of Twenty-Five Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Dollars ($25,650.00) to the City on or before December 31, :1982. 2. The City agrees to accept and use said funds to supplement other funds available for the operation of the Plan Commission and the Building Commission's office of the City of Carmel; 3. The City agrees to furnish a complete statement as' to the income and expenditures for zoning, quarterly by calendar quarters.
