WHEREAS, Indiana Code 36-1-11-8 provides that Governmental Entities
may enter into Interlocal Agreements, and, thus, avoid certain
conditions of statutory requirements which may arise; and
WHEREAS, The City of Carmel, Hamilton County, Indiana, by the
disbursing agent, Carmel Board of Public Works and Safety; and
WHEREAS, The Clinton County Board of Commissioners wishes to
acquire said attached list of Motorola Communications Equipment and
Accessories for the Clinton County Sheriff Department; and
WHEREAS, The Governmental Entities believe that an Interlocal
Agreement providing for the transfer of the equipment aforesaid to
Clinton County is in the best interest of both the City of Carmel
and Clinton County,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Carmel Board of Public Works
and Safety on behalf of the City of Carmel as disbursing agent, as
follows:
1. That the City of Carmel, Hamilton County, Indiana, does
hereby relinquish all right, title and interest thereto,
to the Clinton County Board of Commissioners, the
attached list of Motorola Communications Equipment and
Accessories.
2. That the Clinton County Board of Commissioners, Clinton
County, Indiana, does hereby agree to receive said surplus
Motorola Communications Equipment and Accessories and in
consideration of the delivery thereof, agrees to pay the
City of Carmel the sum of Seven Thousand Eight-Hundred
Dollars ($7,800.00).
