BPW Road Resurface A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING
THE CARMEL BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY
TO EXECUTE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT
WITNESS THAT:
WHEREAS, the City of Carmel has discussed an Interlocal
Agreement with representatives of Hamilton County for resurfacing
roads which have portions within both the jurisdiction of
Hamilton County and the City of Carmel; and
WHEREAS, Hamilton County has caused to be prepared an
Interlocal Agreement between the City of Carmel and the County of
Hamilton for the sharing of costs and responsibilities associated
with the awarding of a contract to a private corporation for the
repaying of those roads; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Carmel Board of Public
Works & Safety to enter into an Interlocal Agreement with the
City of Carmel for resurfacing the roads under the terms and
conditions of the Interlocal Agreement for Repaving of Roads,
which is attached hereto, made a part hereof and marked as
Exhibit A.
IT IS THEREBY RESOLVED by the Carmel Board of Public Works &
Safety that the Interlocal Agreement for Repaying Roads between
the Board of Commissioners of Hamilton County and the Carmel
Board of Public Works & Safety is hereby approved.
