Carmel/Ham Co Firewall PlatformsINTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CARMEL AND HAMILTON COUNTY,
INDIANA, CONCERNING FIREWALL PLATFORMS
WITNESSETH THAT: APPROVED AS 1'O FORM BY~--
WHEREAS, the City of Carmel, Indiana ("City"), presently has the need for two (2) Nokia
Model 1 P440 Firewall Platforms to be used for City operations and security; and
WHEREAS Hamilton County, Indiana ("County"), presently owns two (2) surplus Nokia
Model 1P440 Firewall Platforms. Serial Numbers 0001207 and 8A003251381, respectively, (the
"Firewall Platforms"); and
WHEREAS. it is the desire of the County to dispose of the Firewall Platforms in a fair and
even manner that will benefit the community; and
WHEREAS, the City has agreed to purchase the Firewall Platforms for a total of Fifty
Dollars ($50.00).
IT IS THEREFORE AGREED THAT:
1 The County will sell the Firewall Platforms to the City for a total price of Fifty
Dollars ($50.00), the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, such Firewall
Platforms being sold in the state and condition in which they presently exist and without any
express or implied warranty as to their condition or fitness for any intended use or purpose
whatsoever.
2. The City shall purchase the Firewall Platforms for a total price of Fifty Dollars
($50.00) and accepts same in the state and condition in which they presently exist and without
any express or im plied warranty as to their condition or fitness for any intended use whatsoever.
3. The undersigned are the right and proper parties to enter into this Agreement
and have authority to bind the party for whom they execute same.
4. This Agreement shall become effective and binding on the last date on which a
party hereto executes same ("Effective Date").
5. This Agreement may be executed in counterparts, each counterpart, when fully
executed, constituting an original and binding copy of the same.
