Cooperation CTRW/Obtain Funds from IDOC (Sewers)The City of Carmel, Indiana, seeks to support the efforts of the Clay
Township Regional ~/aste District to obtain ~or~aunity Improvement Program
Funds from the Indiana Department of Commerce for the Upsizing of
Interceptor Sewers in the District's U. S. EPA ~rant Project so Sewer
Service may be provided to the ~4eridian Corridor Area located in part in
both the City and the District. In recognition of said funds being for
the benefit of the Clay Township Regional I~aste District, the cooperation
of the City of Camel is conditioned upon the City, any of its
departments, or any of its subdivisions not having any obligation to
pursue the grant application nor to incur any obligations with respect to
the grant application or other matters related thereto. As the Oaief
Executive Officers of our respective local governments, we are signing
this Agreement to provide our full cooperation to accomplish these
i~provements. The City of Carmel is hereby designated as the lead agency
for this application. The Clay To,reship Regional Haste District agrees to
inde~i£y and hold the City of Carmel harmless for any and all liability
that the city may incur to any person, agency, corporation or other entity
as a result of the Grant Application or related matters. The Clay
Township Regional Iqaste District wiI1 be liable for all of the Program's
administrative functions should the Grant be awarded.
