Noblesville, Indiana, WITNESSETH: .
WHEREAS, the City of Noblesville has in operation complete dog
pound facilities;
WHEREAS ~he City of Carmel is desirous of sending all its stra~
dogs and cats to the City of Noble~ville for impounding _and. the
Cify of Noblesville is agreeable to receiving said dogs and cats;
NOW THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows:
1. For and during the year 1978, the City of Noblesville
'Indiana, will receive all stray dogs and cats delivered to the
City by the City of Carmel, Indian. a, and impound them in the 'City.
of Noblesville's dog pound.
2. That the City of Noblesville will care for and make
disposition of said dogs and cats in accordance with the statutes
of the State of Indiana.

its stray dogs and cats to the City'of.Noblesville for impounding,
and the City of Noblesville is agreeable to recei~ving said dogs
~and cats;
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows:

RE: 1978 CO-CITY KENNEL AGREEMENT
Gentlemen
We are enclosing for your consideration
a proposed agreement between the City of
Carmel~ Indiana~ and the City of Noblesville,
Indiana, in the amount of $3~630.00
We arrived at this amount by using the
1976 and 1977 figures with regard to the number
of animals (dogs and cats) handled by the City
of Noblesville per each taxing unit, along with.
the current population breakdown by percentage
for each unit.
With the ever-increasing costs of maintenance
and operation, w~ have estimated the operating
budget of the kennel for 1978 to be $13,302.76.
Please use this information and agreement
in preparing.your 1978 budget and let us hear
from you if you have any questions concerning
same. We will look forward to receiving the
signed agreement, which we are enclosing. _Please
return all three copi~-s~n~d-ah~'we will, in tur~,-
have our Council sign copies and will return one
copy for your files.
