Minutes PC 09-07-10 Special mtg PARK IMPACT FEE ADVISORY COMMITTEE September 7, 2010 5:45 pm Caucus Rooms of City Hall Carmel IN 46032 Committee Members Present: Bill Redman, Joe Downs, Jay Dorman, Woody Rider, Steve Stromquist, Ephraim Wilfong. Committee Members Absent: Sue Westermeier Parks Board Members Present: Mark Westermeier, Judy Hagan. Department of Community Service: Adrienne Keeling, Angie Conn, Legal Counsel John Molitor The Impact Fee Advisory Committee met to consider the following item: 1. Plan Commission Resolution PC- 08- 17 -10: Resolution to implement increase in Parks and Recreation Impact Fee and ratify the scheduled fee increase for June 2011. Present for Petitioner: Adrienne Keeling, Department of Community Services Overview: Impact Fee Ordinance adopted last year Fee Increase was to be phased in over a 5 -year period Impact fee will increase to $1,387. per Ordinance Impact fee would be effective June, 2011 Committee to return Resolution to Plan Commission with a recommendation Dept recommends ratifying the increase Woody simply stated that the Plan Commission (Committee) is re- approving what was approved the last time; the fee increase only affects new construction of residential dwellings.
