meeting will be held from 5:30 6PM on October 6, here at City Hall 2 floor caucus rooms. The agenda will go out this
Friday at noon. But first, we need your mailing address so we can send you the agenda and pertinent documents, such

Good afternoon, Bill and Joe:
I am writing to you, since you were /are on the Park Impact Fee Advisory Committee, along with the members of the Plan
Commission Special Studies Committee. The Park Impact Fee Advisory Committee meeting will be held from 5:45PM
6PM on Sept. 7, here at City Hall 2nd floor caucus rooms (right before the special studies committee meeting). The agenda
will go out next Friday at noon. I just wanted you to get word of this early, so you can add it to your calendars.
The one item to discuss is Plan Commission Resolution PC 08 17 10: Resolution to implement increase in Parks and
Recreation Impact Fee and ratify the scheduled fee increase for June 2011. The resolution recommends that the
Common Council ratify and approve the scheduled increase for months 13 -24 (June 15, 2011 June 14, 2012). Zoning
Ordinance Section 29.07.04(a) sets a schedule for fee increases; however, the Council must approve each subsequent
increase prior to its implementation. The proposed resolution will increase the Parks and Recreation Impact Fee from
$1,261, times the number of equivalent dwelling units, to $1,387, times the number of equivalent dwelling units, during
months 13 -24 of the effectiveness of the Parks and Recreation Impact Fee Ordinance (June 15, 2011 -June 14, 2012).
(Note: this only applies to new residential construction.)
