EXECUTIVE ORDER
J B 2011 -1
WHEREAS, the Department of Local Government Finance has declared it will, on its own
authority, add certain appropriations to the 2011 budgets of the Police and Fire Pension Funds.
WHEREAS, the appropriations added by the Department of Local Government Finance are not
needed for pension payments or any other purpose intended when the Council adopted the
2011 Budget Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, 1 James Brainard, the duly elected Mayor of the City of Carmel, Indiana,
pursuant to Indiana Code Section 36- 4 -7 -8, which authorizes me to decrease budget
appropriations after the passage of the City's appropriation ordinance, do herby order and
direct that the following funds indicated be decreased in the amounts shown set forth below:
POLICE PENSION FUND AMOUNT DECREASED
Transfer to General Fund $1,419,960
TOTAL: $1,419,960
FIRE PENSION FUND
Transfer to General Fund $1,956,846
TOTAL: $1,956,846
