This indenture witnesseth that the undersigned, as grantors and
sole owners of land in Hamilton County, Indiana more definitely
described below, through, over and upon which will pass a public
highway whIch it is proposed by the City of Carmel, Indiana to
improve, hereby grant, bargain, warrant and convey to the City of
Carmel, Indiana an easement as described below and located by surveys
and shown on plans on file in the office of the Carmel City Engineer.
The description from said plans of said easement hereby granted is as
follows:
Easements in and to the following described real estate, to wit:
A part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 25, Township 18 North,
Range 3 East, City of Carmel, Hamilton County, Indiana, described as
follows: Beginning on the south line of said section at a point South
88 degrees 11 minutes 45 seconds West 35.00 feet from the southeast
corner of said section, which point is also on the west boundary of
Rangeline Road (Westfield Boulevard); thence South 88 degrees 11 min-
utes 45 seconds West 15.00 feet along said south line; thence North 1
degree 00 minutes 00 seconds West 152.46 feet; thence North 89 degrees
00 minutes 00 seconds East 5.00 feet; thence North 1 degree 00 minutes
00 seconds West 37.61 feet; thence North 88 degrees 11 minutes 45 sec-
onds East 10.00 feet to the west boundary of Rangeline Road
(Westfield
Boulevard); thence South 1 degree 00 minutes 00 seconds East 190.00
feet along said west boundary to the point of beginning and containing
0.061 acres, more or less, also, a part of the Southeast Quarter of
Section 2 Township 18 North, Range 3 East, City of Carmel, Hamilton
County, Indiana, described as follows: Commencing at the southeast

ing of this description, which point is the intersection of the west

East 5.00 feet along said north line to the point of beginning and
containing 0.059 acres, more or less for the purpose of slope con-
struction and upon which easement the City of Carmel, Indiana, and its
authorized agents shall have the right to enter at any time for the
purpose of maintaining said slope.
