Dear Mayor Reiman:
This letter is to advise the City of Carmel that the
Clay Township Regional Waste District intends to begin
accepting wastewater flow from a portion of its customer
service area and transmitting it to the Carmel Sewage
Treatment Plant during the week of October 12, 1987. Our
engineer, Samuel L. Moore & Associates, Inc., has contacted
Commonwealth Engineers, Inc., to coordinate the startup of
facilities at the Carmel Sewage Treatment Plant and within
the Clay Township Regional Waste District.
A great deal of effort over a long period has been
expended to make this day a reality for the Clay Township
Regional Waste District and the City of Carmel. We thank
you and your Board of Public Works for the assistance
provided over these many years.
