Dear Mr. Olds:
On behalf of CSO Architects Inc., I am pleased to present this proposal to provide
architectural and project management services to the Carmel Redevelopment Commission
for the continued updates to the Mater Plan for Carmel City Center. These services will be
provided under the contract for professional services dated December 29, 2000 between the
Carmel Redevelopment Commission and CSO Architects, Inc.
This project includes ongoing updates of the graphic representation of the Master Plan for
the Carmel City Center. As new parcels are identified and numbered, the plan will be
changed to reflect the additional parcels, as well as any improvements to the overall design.
The scope of services provided by CSO Architects, Inc. will include the following:
• Drawing updates
• Improvements in overall design not covered by a particular Parcel
• Printing and distribution
We propose to provide these on an hourly basis according to the attached hourly rate
schedule. We would expect the cost of our services to not exceed $15,000 based on the
scope of work as currently understood.
Reimbursable expenses will be billed according to the attached price list. These expenses
should not exceed $3000.
If we anticipate that the cost of our services will exceed the amounts listed above due to
unforeseen conditions or changes, we will contact you to receive approval prior to beginning
work.
